Mysterians

Mysterians was a toy-line from 1983 developed by people at or working with Knickerbocker Toys. The Mysterians toy-line was canceled before making it to the market.

Some of the Mysterians toys were re-named, sometimes re-colored, and released as part of the Transformers toy-line. Which would make Mysterians a pre-Transformers.

Mysterians Sub-Lines

The Mysterians toy-line had 2 sub-lines:

• The Mobile Force, and
• The Hidden Force.

Mysterians: The Mobile Force

Out of the two Mysterians sub-lines, the Mobile Force sub-line is the sub-line of Mysterians that will probably seem more familiar, because they were re-named, sometimes re-colored, and released as part of the Transformers toy-line.

The toys that were part of the Mobile Force sub-line:

• Blazar,
• Jeepar
• Speedar
• Truckar

These were initially re-named, sometimes re-colored, and released as transformers as:

• Mysterians Blazar became Transformers Gears;
• Mysterians Jeepar became Transformers Brawn;
• Mysterians Speedar became Transformers Windcharger;
• Mysterians Truckar became Transformers Huffer.

If one also includes re-colors of all these toys, then the list would include:

• Mysterians Blazar became Transformers Gears, Swerve, Small Foot;
• Mysterians Jeepar became Transformers Brawn, Outback, Jibe;
• Mysterians Speedar became Transformers Windcharger, Tailgate, Camaro.
• Mysterians Truckar became Transformers Huffer, Pipes, Road Ranger.
