Mysterians was a toy-line from 1983 developed by people at or working with Knickerbocker Toys. The Mysterians toy-line was canceled before making it to the market.

Some of the Mysterians toys were re-colored, re-named, and released as part of the Transformers toy-line. Which would make Mysterians a pre-Transformers.
